Program: Frozen Lakes & Martian Canyons
Departure from Bishkek heading towards Kochkor. Along the way, stop at Kok-Moinok Canyons for a hike and content shooting among the scenic clay labyrinths. Continue to the frozen Orto-Tokoy Reservoir: weather and ice conditions permitting, walk out on the frozen lake surface to capture unique ice content. In the evening, arrive in Kochkor for dinner and an overnight stay at a comfortable local guesthouse.

In the morning, depart Kochkor toward the alpine Lake Kol-Ukok. Note: If mountain trail access is blocked by ice, the route will flexibly adapt to visit Aral Reservoir instead for a scenic content shoot on the frozen water. Afterwards, continue the drive toward Naryn. Check-in at a comfortable hotel, followed by dinner and an overnight stay.

Early morning departure from Naryn heading toward the legendary Kel-Suu Lake. The main route goes via Torugart (approx. 6–7 hours). Note: If the shorter route via Kyndy Pass is open and cleared of snow, we will take Kyndy Pass instead. Arrival in the valley, which is the coldest region in Kyrgyzstan with winter temperatures dropping between -20°C and -40°C. Check-in at a warm, heated guesthouse, followed by a hot dinner and overnight stay.

In the morning, head out to the spectacular frozen Lake Kel-Suu. Enjoy a light walk across the thick blue ice along the flat frozen lake surface, surrounded by majestic sheer cliffs and frozen canyons. Spend the full day capturing incredible photo and video content on the ice. In the afternoon, return to the guesthouse. Evening dinner and second overnight stay at the same warm, heated guesthouse.

In the morning, depart the valley and start the journey back toward Kochkor to position ourselves closer to the upcoming tour highlights. Along the Torugart–Bishkek highway, enjoy a scenic road trip with multiple stops for photo and video content amid snow-covered mountain landscapes. Weather and ice conditions permitting, visit the high-altitude frozen Lake Chatyr-Kul. Upon arrival in Kochkor, check-in at a comfortable guesthouse for dinner and rest.

After breakfast, depart for Bokonbayevo to experience an authentic Berkutchi (eagle hunting) show and capture traditional Kyrgyz culture. Afterward, drive to Ak-Sai Canyon for a light 30-minute hike up to a panoramic viewpoint overlooking the massive canyon and Lake Issyk-Kul for a content shoot. In the evening, check-in at the Oimo-Tash Ethno-Resort to enjoy dinner and a comfortable stay in traditional heated yurts.

In the morning, visit Skazka Canyon for a walk among colorful, sculpted red rock formations and sand structures to capture vibrant content. Afterwards, drive to Jeti-Oguz Gorge to admire and photograph the iconic Seven Bulls and Broken Heart rock formations set against snow-covered mountain peaks. In the evening, check-in at a local guesthouse!

In the morning, depart for Karakol Ski Resort. Spend the full day on the mountain: ride the chairlifts up to the panoramic viewpoint as regular visitors to capture scenic content among snow-covered pine forests and mountain peaks. For those who wish, there will also be an opportunity to go skiing or snowboarding. In the late afternoon, descend back to Karakol city for dinner and an overnight stay at a hotel.

Departure from Karakol in the morning, driving along the scenic northern shore of Lake Issyk-Kul back toward Bishkek. Along the way, stop at picturesque coastal viewpoints for a final photo and video session with views of the vast lake and surrounding winter peaks. Continue through the Boom Gorge, arriving in Bishkek by late afternoon. End of the tour.

Please note: some areas we visit during the tour may experience temperatures as low as 40 degrees. We recommend being well-prepared and dressed for such conditions.
